Lewis Hamilton has dropped the clearest hint that he will be confirming his new F1 deal with Mercedes imminently, suggesting he will have something to announce by the Monaco Grand Prix.

Though he has given no indication that he is seeking an alternative to an extension with Mercedes beyond 2015, Hamilton's reluctance to formally put pen to paper has prompted continued speculation over the reason for the delay.

However, when it was put to him that he is stalling over a stand-off with Mercedes due to financial terms, he flatly denied it before saying the next round in Monaco will potentially be the round where he confirms it.
