Daniil Kvyat has admitted it would perhaps be better to take a penalty for changing his Renault power unit in Canada rather than risk the following event in Austria, Red Bull's home race.

Like team-mate Daniel Ricciardo, Kvyat is using his fourth and final Renault power unit before a further change will lumber him with a grid penalty, with Red Bull aiming to prolong the inevitable as long as possible.

However, when asked whether it would perhaps be wiser to take the hit in Canada, where overtaking is deemed possible, Kvyat suggests it is something worth considering.
