Marco Wittmann has been confirmed to drive with Scuderia Toro Rosso at this week's in-season test around the Red Bull Ring as a reward for his success in the DTM.

The German was awarded the test as a prize from BMW after winning the DTM title in 2014, though the original plan to have a run in the Toro Rosso at Imola in November was scuppered by bad weather.

As such, Toro Rosso has rearranged his outing for the two-day F1 test around the Austrian circuit this week, which means Wittmann - a former F3 Euroseries champion - will get the chance to measure himself against a crop of seasoned F1 drivers and other youngsters.
