Nico Rosberg is confident he has enough time to improve his pace around the Hungaroring after being comprehensively out-paced by team-mate Lewis Hamilton in free practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The German ended the day behind Hamilton and the two Red Bulls in fourth position, seven tenths off the top spot, after struggling to find balance in the Mercedes over a single fast lap.

Suffering with both understeer and oversteer, Rosberg remains optimistic that he can use the final free practice session to recover time ahead of qualifying, but is otherwise pleased with his pace over a longer distance.
