Ferrari fires up 2016 engine for first time

With Ferrari set to launch its 2016 F1 challenger next weekend the Italian squad has released a teaser video of the new engine being fired up.
It is often considered that the engine is the heart of any race car so it seems fitting to hear Ferrari's 2016 challenger fire into life for the first time on Valentine's Day.

Ferrari is set to launch its 2016 F1 car with an online presentation next weekend before its first public appearance at the opening pre-season F1 test on 22nd February in Barcelona.

The 2016 Ferrari, which is yet to be officially named, is expected to be a thoroughly revised model on last year's SF15-T, and according to reports as well as an updated engine the MGU-K has been repositioned to the left-hand side of the engine.

Without revealing the identity of the new Ferrari in a video teaser, the Maranello-based squad has fired up the Ferrari 059/5 engine with a muzzled growl. The engines are also expected to be louder in 2016 thanks to a tweak in technical regulations with the exhaust systems.

14 February, with official formula one testing on 22nd, “FERRARI fires-up 2016 engine for first time”. Does anybody with more than two functioning neuron’s believe that FERRARI fired up their new for 2016 engine for the first time this week? The other day I seen something in the form of “a teaser from FERRARI” which later was stretched to “FERRARI fires up their 2016 engine for the first time” with a picture of twin turbo engine thrown in to further exit some minds.
