Force India confirms VJM09 launch details

Force India will pull the wraps off the VJM09 on the morning of the first F1 test in Barcelona, it is confirmed.
Sahara Force India has confirmed it will reveal the VJM09, its contender for the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship, on the morning of the first F1 test at the Circuit de Catalunya.

The team, which enjoyed its best-ever F1 season last year with a run to fifth in the constructors' standings, will feature an unchanged driver line-up of Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez as it looks to take another step towards the front in 2016.

Indeed, the launch – which will take place at 8.30am in the pit lane – is a stark contrast to Force India's tumultuous build up to the 2015 season, with the Mercedes-powered VJM08 not appearing until half-way through the final test, before being given a B-spec overhaul nine rounds into the season.
