Antonio Fuoco says Ferrari rewards its academy drivers who achieve their targets and after his test outing in the SF16-H is keen to impress this season to pursue his F1 dream.

The Italian driver, who currently competes in the GP3 Series for Trident, says he enjoyed a productive test with Ferrari at Circuit de Catalunya having notched up 118 laps with a best time of 1m 24.720s to place him fifth on the timesheet.

Having also test for Ferrari last year in Austria Fuoco is targeting future outings but it relies on meeting performance targets in GP3.

well done on a fine junior career thus far Antonio & all the best for your future ambitions, however i can't help but feel you are just pushing **** up-hill, if you think you have any chance of a race-seat with Ferrari anytime in the near future. Best-case scenario would be a Ferrari testing role for a year before being brushed off to make way for the next Ferrari test, development "seat-warmer".
