The Pirelli tyres selections by each driver has been announced for the Austrian Grand Prix with all competitors favouring the new ultra-soft compound.
After the purple-banded softest Pirelli compound made impressive debuts at Monaco and Canada all F1 teams and drivers have opted for a majority of the ultra-softs in its allocation at Spielberg.
Both Ferrari and Renault drivers have been the most radical with nine sets of the compound, while both Manors and Mercedes drivers are one step behind with eight.
The rest of the field has selected seven sets of the softest compound available while Haas has been the most conservative with six sets.
Small variations run within the selections for the softs and super-softs, but unlike Canada where Haas and Renault opted for zero super-softs, every driver has at least one set of the other two compounds available to use at some point over the race weekend.
