Red Bull Junior Camara to get F1 test outing

Red Bull Junior driver Sergio Sette Camara will drive for Toro Rosso at the upcoming post-British Grand Prix test at Silverstone.
European Formula 3 driver Sergio Sette Camara is to make his F1 debut during the upcoming Silverstone test after being handed a run by Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Currently competing in his second season of European F3 with the Motopark team – where he is currently classified seventh in the standings -, the 18 year-old Brazilian was inducted into the Red Bull Junior programme at the beginning of the year.

As a reward for his efforts, Camara has been nominated as Toro Rosso's 'young driver' to drive the STR11 at the post-British Grand Prix test.

Camara is one of five drivers currently featured in the Red Bull Junior programme along with GP2 driver Pierre Gasly, fellow F3 driver Niko Kari, British F4's Luis Leeds and 15 year-old Dutchman Richard Verschoor.
