Who should replace Chris Evans on Top Gear?

With Chris Evans confirming he is leaving Top Gear after just one series, the search begins for a new host of the biggest motoring show on television.
With Chris Evans confirming he is leaving Top Gear after just one series, the search begins for a new host of the biggest motoring show on television.

Despite his best efforts and bringing his own charm to the show, Evans has decided to quit the lead presenter role just one day after the final episode of his first series aired on the BBC, with the show hitting a series low of 1.9 million viewers on Sunday night.

Evans had come under fire for his presenting style and rumours had surfaced of a rift between the BBC Radio 2 presenter and co-star Matt LeBlanc.

Evans became the new face of Top Gear last year after Jeremy Clarkson was sacked for punching a producer, while co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May also left, with the trio preparing an all-new motoring show titled The Grand Tour which is expected to broadcast in the autumn.

Lets face it, no one could be worse. Completely unfunny and never could understand his popularity. Guy Martin would certainly be on my list but the whole program is so bad now I doubt its recoverable.
