F1 British GP: Rosberg forced to miss FP2 at Silverstone

Nico Rosberg is forced to miss FP2 after his Mercedes develops a water leak that cannot be fixed before the end of the session.
Nico Rosberg has been pushed onto the back foot after being ruled out of second free practice for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone with a water leak.

The title contender, who was second fastest in FP1, had earlier complained of a potential ERS issue but the problem was later traced to a water leak which Mercedes attempted to fix between sessions.

However, after Rosberg missed the early stages of FP2, Mercedes determined the leak was more serious than initially feared and confirmed he would not make it out on track.
