Mercedes F1 team boss Toto Wolff says he will be intrigued by the burgeoning comparison between Esteban Ocon and Pascal Wehrlein at Manor as the two Mercedes protégés prepare to go head-to-head over the second-half of the 2016 F1 season.
Ocon makes his much anticipated F1 debut with Manor Racing this weekend after being called up to replace Rio Haryanto, the defending GP3 Series champion going up alongside fellow Mercedes junior Wehrlein in what is being billed as one of F1's more fascinating head-to-heads.

Indeed, with Renault – whom Ocon is tipped to join in 2017 – already expressing its interest in the Frenchman's performance over the remaining nine races, Wolff is also keen to see how he stacks up directly against another highly-rated youngster.
“We're pleased to see both of our Junior drivers side-by-side at Manor, with Esteban joining Pascal on the grid from this weekend. The coming races will be important for both of their development, so we will watch their progress with great interest.
“There is plenty to be excited about heading into these next nine races. I, for one, can't wait to get back out there.”
