Kimi Raikkonen says Ferrari's fine form in Singapore a year earlier is no firm indication that it will produce a similar result at this season's annual night race extravaganza.
The Finn finished third behind team-mate Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo in Singapore last year as Mercedes unusually struggled for form around the Marina Bay street circuit.

However, though it was Ferrari's most dominant weekend performance for several years, Raikkonen plays down the suggestion it could enjoy a similar advantage in this year's race based on form book of the 2016 season so far.
“I think the last few races have gone in the right direction, but it's very difficult to say how it's going to be there. It's a completely different circuit layout and the conditions are different.

“This year there have been considerable differences between the teams in different tracks, so I'm not going to guess what will happen there. At least we are going in the right direction and it feels better.
“We'll know once we get there; last year it was good but I cannot promise it's going to be the same story all over again.”
