Former F1 race winner Robert Kubica is set to mark a comeback to circuit racing in the Renault Sport Trophy at Spa-Francorchamps in a R.S. 01 for Duqueine Engineering.

Kubica, who drove for Renault in F1 in 2010 scoring three podium finishes, switched to the World Rally Championship after an accident while rallying ended his F1 career.

Despite spending the majority of the past six years in the WRC fold he recently returned to short circuit racing in the Mugello 12 Hours where he qualified third before failing to finish with a broken suspension.

Kubica is set for another circuit outing in the Renault Sport Trophy at Spa alongside Christophe Hamon on the 24-25 September.
