Pirelli has confirmed the tyre selections of each driver and team for the Malaysian Grand Prix with the majority of the field picking similar allocations.

With the hard tyre making its first return to action since the British GP alongside the medium and soft compounds, the entire F1 field has stacked up on the softest compound.

At Mercedes Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have differed slightly on picks with the F1 championship leader opting for two hard sets, four mediums and seven softs compared to Hamilton's three hards, three mediums and seven softs.

Elsewhere Jolyon Palmer is the only driver to go for four sets of hard tyres with just two medium and seven softs.

The Toro Rosso pair of Carlos Sainz and Daniil Kvyat have opted for the most softs of any team by picking eight of the yellow-banded tyres each, supplemented by two medium sets and three hard sets.
