JimG: I went with Mario Andretti. There are a few other drivers listed that I also could have gone with such as Rindt, who was taken from us very prematurely, but I chose Andretti because of his versatility. Not only F1, but IndyCar, sports cars and even NASCAR are racing series he was a successful driver in. I think that if he had decided to concentrate solely on F1, he would have had some more F1 driver's championships.
Surtees is an F1 champ, Motorcycle world champ and Can-Am champ. And won the Senior TT on the Isle of Man 3 years in a row. Still the only one on 2 and 4 wheels. That's versatile.... And still one of the nicest men ever in F1
