Ferrari driver and sometime football star Michael Schumacher will make his return to the soccer pitch next week to raise money for charity.
The German - who often turns out for local side Aubonne in Switzerland - will lead a team dubbed the '
Formula One Allstars' against a team put together by TV station RTL. Schumacher's team will include F1 drivers past and present, and looks set to include Esteban Tuero, Ricardo Rosset, Ivan Capelli and Gabriele Tarquini alongside the captain.
The opposition features TV stars and those from other sporting pursuits - including football. Former Nottingham Forest, Cologne and England favourite Tony Woodcock will play alongside German hero Bernd Forster and the boxer Timo Hoffmann.
The game is scheduled for Wednesday 29 July, and will take place at the Carl Benz stadium in Mannheim, Germany.
