Stewart Grand Prix has vowed to bounce back from the disappointing outcome of the Austrian Grand Prix, when both of its cars retired from promising positions.
Rubens Barrichello qualified fifth for the race, but was forced out by brake problems before it was ten laps old. (I had a brake problem right from the start,) said the Brazilian, (I wasn't sure if it was the pedal's feel, but I had no choice but to come in because the car was too dangerous to drive.) Team-mate Jos Verstappen had escaped the mayhem at the start, and was running with Alex Wurz's Benetton when his engine expired.
The team is now looking forward to Hockenheim, where it hopes it can add to its points tally on the high speed circuit.
