Ferrari team leader, Michael Schumacher has said that he was 'very' pleased following his two-days of testing this week at Jerez.
The German, who joined proceedings on Thursday, setting the fastest lap, and who was second quickest on Friday, completed nearly 200 laps in total.
"I am happy to be back driving again and I am very pleased with these two days of testing at Jerez, which went off without any particular problems," commented Michael at the end of the day.
On Friday he alternated behind the wheel of the two cars available - the F2005 fitted with a regulated V10 engine and the F2004 M, running the Scuderia's new V8 engine, his best lap a 1m 18.576s, two tenths slower than Franck Montagny, who was quickest for Renault.
"The team has worked well over the past few weeks, as has Bridgestone on the tyre front," added Schumacher.
"I can't wait to be back on track when testing resumes. I would like to wish everyone a good Christmas and a happy 2006!"
