Paul Stoddart's Minardi F1x2 two-seater programme continues to be as busy - and as popular - as ever, with a hectic summer schedule keeping passengers and spectators entertained all over Europe.
The team has just completed a frantic six-day programme which saw the two-seaters take part in a successful mid-week programme at the Hungaroring last Wednesday and Thursday, before returning to the UK for a guest appearance at the renowned Oulton Park Gold Cup meeting on the UK's August Bank Holiday on Monday.
Zsolt Baumgartner and Chanoch Nissany provided 40 passengers with high-speed rides around the Hungaroring, which proved to be a little drier than it had been for the exciting Hungarian Grand Prix just over three weeks ago, while Bas Leinders turned chauffeur in the leafy environs of Cheshire, where one of the Ledbury-based operation's fleet carried out a demonstration run at the Oulton Park event.
With many of the crew still getting over the effects of the return trip from Budapest the previous Friday, Leinders completed a spectacular three-lap run in front of an enthusiastic Gold Cup crowd.
"It has certainly been a hectic few days, but they have also been very rewarding days in terms of the number of passengers we have carried and the reactions we have had from the passengers to their first experience of Formula One performance," Stoddart commented, "As ever, I think we get almost as much enjoyment out of staging these programmes as the passengers do from participating in them, and we look forward to continuing to bring the sights and sounds of Formula One to the widest possible audience."
Continuing his theme, Stoddart hinted that the F1x2 team was poised to make several announcements regarding future events, but would not be drawn on further details.
