Crash.net subscribers will get the chance to be in the audience as former F1 team boss Paul Stoddart shares his views on the state of grand prix racing in a special evening of conversation at Donington Park's Grand Prix Collection later this month.
The charismatic Australian will be interviewed by REDliners founder and
GPlive chairman Richard Morgan on Thursday 23 November, becoming the latest in a series of guests to appear at the Collection, and
Crash.net subscribers have been offered the chance to attend for less than half price.
The former team principal of the Minardi F1 team has never been one to hold back on airing his opinions on the sport and the people involved in it and, combined with suggestions that he is to branch out in Champ Cars, the continuation of his F1x2 two-seater initiative and his involvement in
GPlive, the topics of conversation should provide great entertainment.
The F1x2 programme made its public debut at Donington Park in 2000 and, having thrilled passengers and crowds alike in twelve countries in the intervening period, will be back at the circuit as one of the key attractions at next year's
GPlive event over 18-20 May, when the entire two-seater team will be on track.
As well as getting a chance to hear Stoddart air his views on motorsport, the 'Evening with....' event will also allow race fans an opportunity to see the stunning array of grand prix cars, past and present, at the Donington Park Collection, now the largest assembly of historic motor racing icons in the world.
"This evening event gives an exciting taste of what
GPlive is all about," said Morgan, "The event will give unprecedented access to the fastest cars and the greatest stars in a high-octane celebration, featuring what will probably be the largest gathering of former grand prix cars and stars in the world.
"Over its three days, the
GPlive event will combine races and on track demonstrations from historic cars and drivers who remain motor sport legends."
Entry to the evening is by advance ticket only, and
Crash.net subscribers are being offered the chance to attend at the usual REDliners members rate of just £10, instead of the normal price of £25. Advanced booking can be made with credit or debit cards on 01296 680303, quoting
