Ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix on May 27, ING has launched its 'Formula 1 Race Index' to provide new and existing Formula 1 fans with a clear and instant appraisal of the stresses and strains of all 17 grand prix circuits in the race calendar, providing a 'league table' ranking of the most difficult and challenging circuits.
The four categories assessed are the circuit itself, the strain on drivers, engineering requirements and vehicle setup. According to the ING Race Index, which rates circuits from a low of 0 to a peak of 100 points, Monaco Grand Prix obtains 63.54 points and is the sixth most difficult grand prix of the season.
