Race start delayed.

The start of the Brazilian Grand Prix has been delayed following a heavy rain shower shortly before the field was about to leave the grid for the green flag lap.

With rain having hit the circuit earlier in the day and speculation that showers could affect the race, it looked like the title decider would kick off in dry conditions only for a sudden shower to force race officials to delay the start by ten minutes.

While the rain has now stopped and isn't expected to return in the next half an hour, it will leave teams with the decision to make over what tyres to use for the start.

It remains to be seen whether anyone will gamble on dry rubber or play it safe with the majority of the circuit being wet.
