Kimi Raikkonen has given the new Ferrari F60 the thumbs up - despite having his running limited again today [Tuesday] by bad weather.
Raikkonen, who began test work with the F60 at Mugello on Monday, after the Scuderia opted to re-locate from Portugal in search of better weather, was again dogged by occasional rain storms and as such the track was wet throughout the day.
Kimi however, still managed 42 laps - his best time a 1 minute 33.920 seconds, half a second up on his best effort on day 1.
"It's always nice to drive a new car for the first time," said the 2007 world champion. "Unfortunately, because of the weather, we were not able to push to the limit, but these things happen.
"All the same, first impressions are positive and, above all, it's important that we didn't have any particular technical problems."
Testing now continues on Wednesday, when team-mate Felipe Massa will take over and run in the F60.
