Have your say on F1’s 2009 penalties and controversies

Lewis Hamilton's disqualification from the Australian Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel's ten-place grid demotion in Malaysia and the uncertainty surrounding the results of the first two races of 2009 as a result of the contentious diffuser issue have cast a cloud over the start to the new Formula 1 season.

Claims, counter-claims and a raft of penalties have dogged the early part of the current campaign – one that is still only one race old – meaning much of the action has once more taken place off-track rather than on, something that was allegedly going to be a thing of the past after a particularly fractious 2008.
