Does Schumacher deserve Japanese GP grid penalty?

Did the stewards make the right decision when they gave Michael Schumacher a ten-place grid penalty for crashing into the back of Jean-Eric Vergne?

Mercedes driver Michael Schumacher crashed out of the 2012 F1 Singapore Grand Prix in pretty spectacular style again on Sunday, when he ran into the back of the Toro Rosso's of Jean-Eric Vergne on lap 38.

While post-race, Schumacher insisted it wasn't drive error and that something had gone wrong with the brakes [see separate story - HERE], the stewards felt the seven-time world champion was too blame and promptly handed him a ten-place grid penalty for the next event in Japan [see separate story - HERE].

But does he really deserve that?

Was the punishment a bit harsh or do you think it should have been greater?
