What punishment should McLaren receive for Melbourne 'lies'?

At the end of this month, the FIA's World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) will meet to discuss the fate of McLaren-Mercedes in the wake of the Melbourne Formula 1 'lies' scandal – but what penalty do you believe the Woking-based outfit should receive?

Having already been disqualified from the curtain-raising Australian Grand Prix last month, defending world champion Lewis Hamilton and his team now face the threat of further sanctions after being found guilty of breaching Article 151c of the International Sporting Code. That is a result of having provided 'deliberately misleading' information to Albert Park stewards over the incident that saw the Stevenage-born ace pass and subsequently let re-pass the Toyota of Jarno Trulli under the late-race safety car period.

With pits-to-car radio communication revealing the declarations of Hamilton and respected long-time sporting director Dave Ryan to have been untrue – and ostensibly an attempt to get Trulli penalised from third place and inherit the final rostrum position at the Italian's expense – McLaren has been plunged into turmoil, and faces punishment as severe as exclusion from the entire 2009 F1 campaign when the WMSC convenes on 29 April.

So here's your chance to have your say...
