Who was your driver of the day in Montreal?

While most races have been a straight fight between the two Mercedes drivers, Sunday's Canadian Grand Prix became anyone's race with 20 laps to go as Nico Rosberg laboured at the head of the field and the pack closed in...

Rosberg kept a train of cars behind him for a number of laps but once Daniel Ricciardo forced his way past Sergio Perez at Turn 1, the Red Bull had the pace to close the gap sufficiently before the long straights to snatch the lead and Ricciardo took a thrilling maiden victory.

But what of the rest of the field? Sergio Perez had been so impressive but his race came to an end on the final lap due to a spectacular collision with Felipe Massa - for which Perez was blamed - while Massa became the first non-Mercedes to lead a grand prix this season earlier in the race and looked favourite for victory at one stage.

After being praised by Rob Smedley for a "monumental" lap in qualifying, Sebastian Vettel was unable to match his team-mate in the race but still brought the underpowered Red Bull home in third place, while Jenson Button's opportunism saw him snatch fourth ahead of Nico Hulkenberg and Fernando Alonso by passing both at the hairpin on the penultimate lap.

It was yet another fifth place for Hulkenberg as he and Alonso engage in their own private battle this season, and behind them Valtteri Bottas faded late on due to reliability issues.
