Will Renault quit F1 if found guilty over Singapore-gate?


Renault will appear before the FIA's World Motor Sport Council later this month regarding the circumstances of Fernando Alonso's victory in last year's Singapore Grand Prix.

It has been alleged that the Spaniard won after former number two driver, Nelson Piquet Jr purposely crashed to bring out the safety car, thus handing his team-mate the advantage. Indeed the Brazilian has apparently admitted he was asked to do just that [see separate story click here.]
