Is Mark Webber right?

Red Bull Racing's Mark Webber has suggested that F1 fans could be turned off by the prospect of multiple winners in a single season, claiming that they would prefer to have the title fought over by fewer contenders who ran at the front of the field on a regular basis.

Can this be true? Is there anyone out there upset at seeing two first-time winners in the opening five races of 2012? Frustrated at seeing Mercedes and Williams return to the top step of the podium? Angry at having the top five in the championship split by just 13 points when, at the same point in 2011, Sebastian Vettel was already 41 in front?
