Next weekend sees the 2012 F1 British Grand Prix, the biggest motor sport event of the year in the UK. And we can't wait! In fact we're so excited about it that we couldn't stop ourselves getting into the spirit of the event early by compiling a brand new quiz about our favourite event of the GP calendar.

Silverstone hosted the very first British GP in the first ever official car motor racing World Championship, so it's only right that we should revel in some of the glorious history of the event. This will be quite a test of your in-depth knowledge about the British GP - but it's also packed with interesting extra facts and details about the history of the race through the decades for you to enjoy.
