Vettel: That pole lap was 'spot on'
Sebastian Vettel was 'happy' after claiming pole for the F1 2011 Monaco GP today, although he added that the most important thing is that Sergio Perez is okay following his violent crash.
Lewis Hamilton pulled no punches after what he described as a 'shambles' of a Monaco GP, slating some of his rivals as 'frickin' ridiculous' and the treatment he received 'an absolute joke'. 
Despite apologising to the Monaco race stewards, Lewis Hamilton may not escape punishment from F1's governing body for his post-race outburst. 
Sergio Perez will remain in hospital tonight and as expected he will not start Sunday's F1 2011 Monaco Grand Prix, it has been confirmed. 
Sebastian Vettel has conceded the team took a lot of risks today to en-route to victory in the F1 2011 Monaco Grand Prix, although he added that made coming out top even sweeter.
