@ Phil W. I understand what you're saying, but to say Max and Bernie don't know what it's like to watch motorsport on a sunday afternoon is a big assumption.
Bernie's been involved in F1 for over 40 years, and before that lower formulae racing. And in his younger days even entered two F1 GP's as a driver. He was also an F1 team boss (Brabham) in the eighties.
Max has been involved in motorsport for almost as long, an ex-racer himself, and he also set up and ran an F1 team (MARCH).
These two are interested in motorsport, a lot. They've spent most of their lives involved in F1. Their life is F1.
What makes you think they wouldn't watch it on the telly?
