In his mind it appears that JB has already conceded the WDC. After quali he was obviousely very dissapointed, but in being so negative he is giving his rivals the chink of light they need. From fourteenth on the grid he isnt starting amongst his main title rivals, but he is going to be amongst perhaps the two most competitive drivers on the grid in the shape of Alonso and a KERS equipped Hamilton. These two guys will start the race not thinking 'oh no, my car is rubbish, Im gonna have a tough day', they will be thinking about the first corner and who can be picked of on the long run up Kemal. If the car has weakness, it will eventually show itself, its another thing though to show the opposition that you have mental weakness, Alonso and Hamilton wont be showing any!
