AlanD--did not want to come back here but--team orders are a racing thing to help ONE DRIVER win. Period. Thought you were smarter than your post. In football, baseball, basketball, soccer, doubles-tennis, and so on the TEAM wins and all share in victory. But in F1 and Indy and Sports Cars and Nascar a driver is set up to win, not a team. However, there are no team orders in NHRA and they almost all have teams. Why?, it is to darn dangerous as it is.
