I mean no disrespect but I cannot see how this bid by Villeneuve and Durango could succeed. Durango had to pull the plug on their GP2 programme back in 2009 for lack of funding. Villeneuve has been unable to get regular seats in NASCAR's Cup and Nationwide series because of lack of funding. No F1 have been interested in him. Yet somehow these two parties are pressing ahead with an F1 entry for 2011, apparantly with full('ish) funding. I wish both JV and Durango the best of luck with their 2011 plans but I am totally sceptical about actually seeing them make the grid. On the flip side HRT made it, so maybe I am being too cynical.
