Hamilton is a really good driver, no doubt about it. But great drivers know when to driver the wheels off their cars and when to play the waiting game and choose the right time to move, so as to maximise their results. Hamilton has already thrown one championship away (2007), barely held on to another (2008), and it looks like this year is slipping through his fingers when he was leading the championship just a few races ago. He has the skill to have been picking up his 3rd championship this year, but just lacks a little in driving maturity.
