Long before many of the countries who are represented in Grand Prix racing today, Thailand was represented at that level by the great Prince Bira. Unlike certain contemporary venues, therefore, a Thai GP circuit would be very fitting and in keeping with the sport's history - and it would be marvellous therefore if it could be named in Bira's honour, some small way of compensating for the sad way this great hero's last years unfolded in London bedsits.
