I have been a Webber fan since day one. Being Australian I am a bit biased I guess.
But your mention of last years German GP bought back good memories.
Such a crushing performance, absolutely smashing the entire field even after a drive through, that wouldnt have been seen since the Schu/Ferrari days in a far superior car.
That, along with the pure emotion after the race. I have only seriously followed F1 since about 2000, but I don't think I have ever seen a driver show that kind of emotion, even after winning a championship.
