Really great stuff, we need more stuff like it on this site. Re the heading GREAT DUELS of which there were many they should be divided in two, THE GREATEST DRIVES/VICTORIES and THE GREATEST DUELS which means bing, boom bang. The greatest victory is said by many a historian to belong to JUAN MANUEL FANGIO driving a Maserati 250F in the 1957 German Grand Prix. The greatest duel, and this was a real bing, boom, bang is said by many a historian to belong to RENE ARNOUX’S (Renault RS10 1.5L V6 twin turbo) and GILLES VILLENEUVE (Ferrari 312T4 3L flat 12) this race was the 1979 French Grand Prix at Dijon.
