Richard, as I already said a long time ago over here I remember having to wait a week or two for the BP 7mm black and white silent reel/film to arrive so that we could see a race at that time as there wasn’t TV system yet but we would have already followed the race on radio, the great race/victory by Fangio 53 years ago was unbelievable, Fangio left the pit lane in 3rd place 48 seconds behind Collins who was second and he won the race in the next 10 laps or so. As to the other great race at Dijon Rene Arnooux’s said “please note the difference from the blab of today” I KNOW I’D BEEN BEATEN BY THE BEST DRIVER IN THE WORLD.
