Flashbacks of Pedrosa taking out Hayden on the penultimate MotoGP championship round in 2006 shoot through my mind while reading this. Of course, Hayden (and Pedrosa) was lucky to go on and claim the title regardless in the last round (because, first Elias won his one and only race in MotoGP beating out Rossi by thousands in the race the Pedrosa f-up took place and then Rossi crashed himself at the last round) but it could so easily have been different. That was one of the most mind meltingly stupid things I've ever seen on a race track. I wonder if this means we'll see more. At the very least this puts big unnecessary pressure on RBR's only remaining championship contender.
