In the middle of this bleating about who favours what, everyone seems to have forgotten a fundamental issue about motor sport. I attend to watch a fair race. I do not want some anonymous technical or commercial director sitting in the pits deciding who is going to win. If this is to be the case we might as well only allow one car teams from now on as the other car is superfluous. And who is going to tell Ladbrokes et al that the result is fixed before the start? Are you prepared to put money on the outcome from now on. You would be an idiot of you did.
