@tealeaf you obviously don't remember the last batch of turbocars they sounded like god on his vinegar strokes and raced with at least 50% more BHP than the current cars manage- and as for "struggling to break 200mph" I was there in Austria 1986 when Derek Warwick broke the timing beam at 217mph, in a 1.5 litre four pot turbo. And also, Moto GP bikes acceleration from 50 to 140mph has been demonstrated to be superior to F1 cars already.
