Luca di is towing the company line since I can't see any Ferrari enthusiast driving a 4 cylinder engine. That said, I'm not opposed to 4 cylinder turbo's as long as the performance stays the same. I like the roar of the big engine but it's not necessary, at least for me, to have the sound component as the most important indistinguishable F1 trademark. To me they can race electric motors as long as they are the fastest thing around.
