I am surprised that the BBC has not decided to pander to those who's attention cannot be retained for more then ten seconds by adopting the principle that has ruined many other of their serious programmes. Let’s have Jake interrupting the race after ten laps by saying “but more of that later” and then going to an article about the manufacture of carbon fibre, before returning to the race for ten more laps. Simples!
