The placement of David Coulthard for the BBC F1 coverage is an excellent choice and the BBC are to be applauded, as an ex successful F1 driver he brings an additional strength as co-presenter, I have felt that the BBC have missed out in the past in not engaging Damon Hill in a similar role, this may have been offered but due to his other commitments he may not have been able to take up the position on a full time basis, our loss.
As regards to the comments made about Martin Brundle track side manners, Martin is a go getter and was the ideal person for that task, if he had not pushed himself in on occasions whilst appearing a little rude at times it was the only way to achieve the results in the short time allowed on the grid, otherwise we would have had voids in dialogue, if he is replaced in this position I wish his successor every success.
2011 is going to be a great year for F1 with the current and many ex F1 champions, we can look forward to the closest finish ever, sit back and e
