I watched the interview and must agree they were very blunt...
EJ made a good point that they have 2 designers that seem to take it in turn each year with designing the car.. there isn't a revolution of the car that way - instead just a whole new design.
Last year's car wasn't the best - probably managed to keep up with the others due to the F-Duct.... would it be worth keeping it for a revolution instead of an evolution? I honistly don't know, but looking at Mclaren's results in the past 10 years... they seem to have a nasty habit of making a good car then play catch up the year afterwards!
