No not at all. I think the local community would welcome F1 as it does the V8s and other events.
The Supercheap 1,000 is welcomed with spectators in the region of 200,000. It is a win/win situation for all.On the Supercheap weekend camping facilities are made available however for those that want comfort in lieu of atmosphere accomodation can be up to 100 KLM away. I travel from home which is 200 Ks or about 1 3/4 hrs'.
As I reflected on before and so did Monster it is the nature of the circuit that detracts F1. The gradient is steep and one point through the esses portion is 1 to 3 on the downhill portion.
