I agree with the above in that F1 needs to separate qualifying and race tyre allocations as otherwise qualifying will become a joke. I'd prefer it if the teams had maybe 3 sets of tyres for qualifying which then get handed back to Pirelli then maybe 4 new sets of tyres (or their own choice although 1 set still has to be harder compound) for the race.
